Setting up call recording in the mobile app

With the call recording feature, admins can:
  • Enable or disable users to record calls at any time by pressing *9 on a phone dialpad.
  • Enable or disable a prompt once users start or stop recording.
Note: Certain call recording laws apply to the use of call recording features. Admins can configure call recording using the mobile or desktop app.

Configuring call recording

  1. Depending on which device you’re on:
    1. For Android devices, tap the More icon at the bottom right.

b. For iOS devices, tap your profile photo at the top left.

  1. Toggle Call Recording on or off. You can enable or disable the call recording start/stop prompt if you want.

Configuring call recording prompt

  1. Tap Announcement on Start/ Announcement on Stop.
  2. Choose between Default or Custom.

  1. Tap Record to create your own custom start/stop recording prompt.
  2. Select a number where Vodafone Business UC with RingCentral can call you to record your custom recording prompt over the phone, and then tap Call Now.
  1. Answer the call and record your custom recording prompt.
  1. Tap OK.
