Last updated on May 12, 2021

Table of contents

You can add personal contacts by:
  • Creating them from within the mobile app
  • By syncing your Microsoft or Google accounts with your mobile app.
Adding personal contacts allows you to collaborate with people who don’t work at your company. With this feature, you can create, edit, and delete your personal contacts from within the app.

Unlike guest users, personal contacts are not app users. Instead, you can add them to your list of contacts so you can call, text, and fax people outside of your company, all within the app. You will easily recognize a caller or sender of a text or fax.

Adding a personal contact from within the app

You can manually add contacts from your calls, messages, or faxes.

There are multiple ways that you can add a personal contact:
  • By selecting the New contact person icon via the add button in the Contacts menu in the bottom bar
  • By creating a new contact via your call history or number sent in a message
Let’s discuss how to create a personal contact via the New contact person icon.

Adding a new personal contact

  1. Navigate to Contacts via the bottom menu bar.
  2. Tap the Personal tab.
  3. Tap the new actions plus button at bottom right.
  4. Tap New contact.

  6. Configure the contact settings as needed.
  7. Click Save to close the window.
