Using Video attendee controls on desktop and web

Attendees in a Video meeting can access the following controls via the bottom bar during a meeting:
  • Meeting information: The letter ‘i’ icon at the bottom left corner allows you to view or copy the meeting details.
  • Network connection: The signal icon shows the network connection details, including packet loss and jitter for sharing, video, and audio for upstream and downstream media streams. You will also see latency, which is measured for both upstream and downstream, so it is the same value for both. Clicking Diagnose issues redirects to the service that provides the capability to diagnose network conditions.
  • Mute/Unmute: Mute or unmute your microphone.
  • Start/Stop video: Turn on or off your camera.
  • Share: Share your screen.
  • Invite: Invite others to the meeting by phone, email, invite link, or invite details.
  • Participants: View the other meeting participants.
  • Chat: Send public or private messages to anyone in the meeting.

  • More: Click here to find the following options: 
    • Virtual background: Enable Virtual Background to display an image or video as your background during a meeting.
    • Presentation mode: Enable presenter overlay in Presentation Mode to place your video over the screen you’re sharing.
    • Enable closed captions: Enable closed captions. Closed captions are visually displayed on the bottom of the meeting screen to provide a better, more inclusive meeting experience by presenting real-time meeting discussions.
    • Settings: Configure your video meeting settings.
  • Leave: Leave the meeting.
