Using the raise hand feature as a host, moderator,
or presenter during a RingCentral Video

As a host, a moderator, or a participant sharing your screen, you can lower the hands of participants who used the raise hands feature during a RingCentral Video meeting on desktop and web.
 
Note: The raised hand notification will not be dismissed until the participant who raised the hand, host, or moderator, or presenter lowers the hand.

Viewing participants who raised their hands

Via meeting screen

You can view the live count of raised hands via notification at the bottom toolbar. The number of raised hands will continue to appear until all hands are lowered.

  1. Click Participants at the bottom toolbar.
  2. Toggle the radio button for Show only raised hands to filter all participants who raised their hands. It will be sorted from the first participant who raised their hand to the last.

Lowering hands of participants as host or moderator

Via meeting screen

The host, moderators, or presenter can lower a participant’s hand by clicking the raise hand notification on a video tile in the meeting screen, then click Lower hand.

  1. Click Participants at the bottom toolbar.
  2. Toggle the radio button for Show only raised hands to filter all participants who raised their hands.
  3. Click the menu icon at the far right of the participant you want to manage.
  4. Select Lower hand.

  1. If you want to lower the hand of all participants simultaneously, click Lower all hands.
