Attaching a file in the mobile app

You can attach files to a message from your mobile device, Google Drive, or cloud storage. You can attach the following:
  • Documents 
  • Images
  • Videos
Note: You can attach a maximum of 20 files. Before you can attach a file, file sharing must be enabled by your administrator. 

Attaching a file from your mobile device

  1. Navigate to Message via the bottom menu bar.

  1. Select a conversation from the conversation list.
  2. Draft your message in the message field (optional).
  3. Tap the Add button in the bottom left corner of the app.

  1. Select Attach files icon from the menu.

  1. Locate, select, and open the file(s) you’d like to attach.
  2. Tap the Send icon.

Attaching a file from Google Drive or cloud storage

  1. Navigate to Message via the bottom menu bar.

  1. Select a conversation from the conversation list.
  2. Draft your message in the message field (optional).
  3. Tap the Add button in the bottom left corner of the app.

  1. Select Attach files icon from the menu.

  1. Choose the Google account or cloud storage repository you want to import files from.
  2. Locate and tap on the file from your Google Drive you’d like to attach.
  3. Tap the Send icon.
Note: If you’ve attached an image to your message either from your mobile device, cloud storage, or Google Drive, you can check if it is the correct file before sending it out by tapping on the image. This will open up the image in full-screen view. If the image is incorrect, tap the back button and tap the x icon on the incorrect image to remove it. Follow the steps above to attach another image to send along with your message.
