Quoting a message in the app desktop and web

If you would like to reply to a message made earlier in a conversation stream, you can quote that message and reply in order to inform others of which comment you are responding to.

Select a conversation from the conversation list.
Hover over the message you’d like to quote and click the Quote chat bubble icon. That message will appear in the message field at the bottom.

Type your reply in the message field under the quoted message.
Once you’re finished drafting your message, press Enter or Return.

Note: You will not be able to quote messages that only contain attached files, notes, tasks, or events.
