Notifying members there’s a parked call in the app desktop and web

When you have parked a call to your private park location group, you can notify the other group members by sending them a message in the app. For more info about parking a call, visit Parking and retrieving a call in the app.
 
Note: You must enable the head-up display (HUD) in the app to park a call to a park location group and view the parked calls in the Phone menu. To learn more, visit Enabling the HUD in the app desktop and web.

Notifying park location group members on a live call

  1. On a live call, click the More icon, then select Park.
Click more, then click park
  1. Hover over the park location where you want to park the call, then click the Park current call and send message icon.
  1. On the Notify by message window, enter the names or email addresses (separated by semicolons or commas) of the park location group members you want to notify.
  2. The notification message is pre-filled with the caller’s number, name of the park location group, and a link where the other members can pick up the call. Type any additional info in the message field if you want.
  3. Click Send.

Notifying park location group members in the HUD

  1. Navigate to Phone via the left navigation bar.
  2. Click the Park locations tab under HUD on the left pane.
  3. If your HUD is in View Pop out, click the Park locations tab. Hover over the park location group where the call is parked and click the Notify by message icon.

  2. The notification message is pre-filled with the number of the caller, name of the park location group, and link where the other members can pick up the call. Type any additional info in the message field if you want.
  3. Click Send.

Notifying park location group members via the banner

Once you’ve successfully parked a call in a park location group, there’s a green banner that appears at the top of the app. To notify the park location group members that there’s a parked call:
  1. Click the Notify by message icon in the banner.

  1. Enter the names or email addresses (separated by semicolons or commas) of the park location group members you want to notify.
  2. The notification message is pre-filled with the number of the caller, name of the park location group, and link where the other members can pick up the call. Type any additional info in the message field if you want.
  3. Click Send.
