Configuring calendars and contacts settings in the app desktop and web

You can connect your Microsoft and Google calendars to the app, allowing you to import all your meetings, events, and contacts from Microsoft and Google into the app. To learn more, visit Connecting your Microsoft or Google calendar in the app desktop and web.
You can also add personal contacts so you can easily collaborate with people who don’t work at your company. With this feature, you can create, edit, and delete your personal contacts from within the app. To learn more, visit Adding a personal contact in the app desktop and web.
Accessing Calendars and contacts
To access your calendars and contacts settings in the desktop and web app, navigate to Settings > Calendars and contacts.

Microsoft connection settings
Under the Microsoft section, you can configure the following:
- Account connections: Connect your Microsoft account to the app and choose to sync your calendar events and Microsoft contacts.
Google connection settings
Under the Google section, you can configure the following:
- Account connections: Connect your Google account to the app and choose to sync your calendar events and Microsoft contacts.
Contacts settings
Under the Contacts section, you can configure the following:
- Default new contact to: Set your default contact source for creating a new contact. Options include
- Vodafone Business with RingCentral: Contacts you save within the app will be saved to the Personal contacts page in the app.
- Microsoft: Contacts will be saved in your Microsoft account and in the app.
- Google: Contacts will be saved in your Google account and in the app.
Note: When you select Vodafone Business with RingCentral, the contacts you save from within the app will be saved to the Personal contacts page in the app. When you select either Microsoft or Google, the contact you save will also be saved to your Microsoft or Google account and will appear in the Personal contacts tab.
Calendars settings
Under the Calendars section, you can configure the following:
- Calendar presence: Syncs your Microsoft and Google calendar events with your app presence. For example, if you’ve blocked off an hour in your calendar for lunch, your presence in the app will switch to Busy during that allotted time.
