Using the raise hand feature as a host during a
RingCentral Video meeting

As host or moderator, you can lower the hands of participants who used the raise hands feature during a RingCentral Video meeting on mobile. 
 
Note: The raised hand notification will not be dismissed until the participant who raised the hand, host, or moderator lowers the hand.

Viewing participants who raised their hands

Via meeting screen

You can view the live count of raised hands via notification at the bottom toolbar. The number of raised hands will continue to appear until all hands are lowered.

Via Participants menu

1. Tap Participants at the bottom toolbar.
2. Toggle the radio button for Show only raised hands to filter all participants who raised their hands. It will be sorted from the first participant to raise their hands to the last.

3. Tap the back button at the upper left to return to the meeting screen.

Lowering hands of participants as host or moderator

Via meeting screen

Hosts or moderators can lower a participant’s hand by tapping the raise hand notification on a video tile via the meeting screen, then tap Lower hand at the top toolbar.

Via Participants menu

1. Tap Participants in the bottom toolbar.
2. Toggle the radio button for Show only raised hands to filter all participants who raised their hands.
3. Tap the menu icon at the far right of the participant you want to manage.
4. Tap Lower hand.

5. If you want to lower the hand of all participants simultaneously, tap Lower all hands at the bottom.
