Navigating the Video interface in the mobile app

The Video interface acts as the main hub for starting, scheduling, and joining meetings. To access the Video interface for mobile, you can navigate to the bottom menu bar. Note: What you can view and tap at the bottom menu bar is fully customizable. To learn more, visit Customizing tabs in the mobile app.

Video menu

The Video menu is the page that you will see when you tap the Video icon at the bottom menu bar. If your calendar is synced with the mobile app, the homepage will show all your upcoming meetings, including the following information and options:
  • Start: Start an instant meeting with your co-workers or guests. 
  • Schedule: Schedule a meeting with your co-workers and guests. 
  • Join: Manually join a meeting. You will be required to enter the meeting ID or the meeting link of the meeting you want to join. You can also join a meeting by typing the host’s personal meeting ID in the field provided. To learn more about joining a meeting, visit Joining a meeting in the mobile app.
  • Personal Meeting ID: A specific meeting ID that you can use for all your meetings. To know more, visit Using your Personal Meeting ID in the mobile app.
  • Share link: Tap to share meeting link. Your options are: With Vodafone Busines with RingCentral contacts or Via other apps.
  • More: Tap the icon at far right of your Personal Meeting ID to access the following: Start meeting, Dial in, Copy meeting link, and Settings.
  • Day and date: Shows the day and the date of an upcoming meeting.
  • Meeting start and end time: The start and end time is used to determine the meeting duration of an upcoming meeting.
  • Subject: Meeting’s title or name.
  • Participants: Shows the number of participants and some of the participants’ profile pictures.
  • Join button: Tap the blue Join button to join the scheduled meeting.
  • More: Tap the icon at far right of the scheduled meeting to access the following options:
    • Message meeting participants: Tap to automatically message meeting participants with one of the following options: 5 minutes late, 10 minutes late, Let’s reschedule, Sorry, can’t make it or Custom message.
    • Email meeting participants: Tap to automatically send an email to meeting participants with one of the following options: 5 minutes late, 10 minutes late, Let’s reschedule, Sorry, can’t make it or Custom message.
    • Copy meeting URL: Tap to copy meeting URL.
    • View meeting details: Tap to view meeting details.
  • Connect: Tap the Connect button underneath the scheduled meeting to access the following options: Create new team or Use existing team. Using this button, users can connect their upcoming meeting to a new or existing team conversation, so that they can message participants directly.
  • Circle with letter ‘i’ icon: Tap to read description of Connect button.

More icon

The three-dot More icon at top right corner of the Video menu reveals the following options:
  • Recent meetings: Select to view your past meetings.
  • Recordings: Select to view a list of meeting recordings that you own or shared with you.
  • Video meeting settings: Select to navigate to the Video meeting settings section of the mobile app.
  • Calendar settings: Select to configure contacts and calendar settings. To learn more, visit Configuring contacts settings in mobile app.
