Transferring calls using the HUD in the app desktop and web

The head-up display (HUD) in the app allows you to transfer a call to another extension with a few clicks.

Note: You must enable the HUD to transfer calls via the HUD. To learn more, visit Enabling the HUD in the app desktop and web.

Transferring calls via the HUD

  1. On a live call, navigate to the Extensions.
  2. Hover over the user you want to transfer the call to.
  3. Click Transfer, then select from the following:
    • Ask first
    • Transfer
    • To voicemail

Transfer options

  • Ask first: Talk to the person on the line before transferring. Click Transfer to transfer the call.
  • Transfer: Automatically transfers to the extension.
  • To voicemail: Transfers to the user extension’s voicemail.
