Viewing user profiles in the app desktop and web

Every app user has a profile, and these profiles can be edited by the user and viewed by others at any time. 

Viewing a user’s profile

You can access another user’s profile anytime you see their profile picture or name anywhere within the app.

One of the methods to find a user’s profile:
  1. Go to Contacts via the left-hand navigation bar.
  2. Select a contact category, such as All contacts or Company via the left pane.
  3. Use the search bar at the upper right or scroll through the list of contacts.
  4. Click on a contact’s name to open their profile.

User’s profile information

Once you’ve accessed a user’s profile, you will see some or all of the following information about that user:
  • First and last name
  • Profile picture 
  • Presence
  • Status
  • Company
  • Location
  • Direct number 
  • Extension number (if applicable)
  • Email address
  • Webpage 
  • Call queue members (for call queue extensions)

Performing actions on a user via their profile

While viewing a user’s profile, you can:
  • Favorite or unfavorite a user via the star icon at the top left
  • Message the user via the Message chat bubble icon
  • Start a meeting with the user via the Video camera icon
  • Call the user by hovering over the Direct Number or Ext field and selecting the Call phone icon at the far right to call that user
  • Email the user via the user’s email address
